I feel oddly peaceful today. I stepped away from editing (although edited a brief vlog this evening since I've been loving vlogging lately), and stepped away from gameplay to just take some time to think, and evaluate things.

Allowing myself to breathe in a sense, and find my inner peace. Things are going really well over on my YouTube channel at the moment, I'm very content with how its all coming together, and although I dread returning to attempting gameplay recording, I'll try to pick it up again tomorrow. I just, I don't know, I've felt like I've just been drifting through life since I started university, I've felt like, well frankly, a little lost, as I've said before, and although I still don't enjoy it, I'm trying so hard to make everything else in my life work. My heart is open and it's a good feeling. I feel like when I'm not travelling constantly, my health has a chance to pick up, and my positivity comes back.

I don't know, just me getting mushy I guess, but I'm so thankful for all of you, for improving my life. I know I'm always saying it, but I never want to lose sight of what matters, and I never want you to forget how grateful I am to you.

And please don't worry, I haven't forgotten any of you. I still care about each and every one of you, I just get so caught up with everything that I guess life just sort of sweeps me away sometimes.

PS. I wanted to share this with you, I've been listening to it on repeat since last night when I bought the whole album on iTunes, it evokes strong emotions, don't ask why, just very sort of hopeful/love/happiness/trust feelings. EMOTIONAL MUSH. Ori, Lost In The Storm Music.

So if you only keep up with my blog, and not my YouTube channel, you probably won't have heard the news that I'm starting to do game play throughs over on my YouTube Channel. My channel name now reflects this change and has become Thegirlcriedfashion / BluSno Gaming, the name BluSno Gaming is quite personal, and I'll probably explain the origins of the name sometime down the line but for now, that's all you'll know.

I'm really happy with how things are panning out, my equipment (most of it) arrived today in so many boxes, I felt sorry for the delivery guy! If you're interested in having a nosy at what equipment I received today go and friend me on Snapchat (@tgcfashion), I accept everyone over there, and you can take a peak at what arrived.

I've got more equipment to order on Monday and I'm expecting my computer to arrive either then or Tuesday so I have to be in to wait around for it. I'm really excited to get it; it's nothing "special" but to have my own computer is very, very exciting for me. I no longer have to depend on my mother's good graces allowing me to use her computer when she isn't using it. She's been very kind and patient allowing me to use hers (the one I'm typing on right now) but it's now time since I'm doing gameplays soon that I have my own powerful computer.

I made a fluff up though and ordered what I thought was a hard copy of a PC game and paid double what it costs on Steam just so I could have a "hard copy" as that's something I prefer and I'm fussy about, turns out I've basically been ripped off, and it's a disc linking you to Steam, so I'm returning the game, getting a refund and just buying it straight from Steam for half the price I paid. It really grates on me when sellers think it's okay to trick people. The listing image showed the front of the game box with PC /DVD Rom written on it, so I was more than comfortable buying it, just to discover it's not an actual hard copy. So annoying. *rolls eyes* Oh look, there's that sass.

In other good news, a super exciting new video goes live on my channel tomorrow at 5pm GMT+1, so I'm very much looking forward to everyone being able to see it at last. My first ever game play is sort of marked in my calendar as being Wednesday 4th May, but if circumstances change, uni demands more of me, or some equipment is incompatible, or just unforeseen circumstances occur, then this may be slightly delayed, but I'm hoping it won't be because I can't wait to get started.

Anyway, I've gone all sleepy and I fancy a cup of tea. (I've had about 8 already today. Don't even ask me how I've managed that, I've been drinking them subconsciously whilst my friend was here who doesn't drink hot drinks like tea or coffee and they kept noticing how many cups of tea I was making!)

I hope you're all having a beautiful day,

So. Here we are. The very final "Music For The Soul" post that I will ever write. It's been amazing and I've loved sharing some of my musical favourites with you, but I feel like it's time to move on from this style of post, and hopefully create something else that is new and improved in the future.

Let's Begin.

Firstly, a song that I've had on repeat for the last three days, because it's heaven.

Akon - Be With You (Nedu Remix)

This song is just beautiful. I can't explain what it is about it that I love so much, I just do, it gives me that feeling that feels like your heart has been lifted.

Next up is an old favourite. Old, but gold.

Iyaz - Replay (Roial Remix)

This song is something that I always come back to, in the form of the original, or of one of the many stunning tropical house remixes. This particular remix just happens to be one that I particularly love. It's tropical undertones escort you away to warmer climates by the sun, the sea and the sand and I love that.

Third in line is:

Michael Jackson ft. Akon - Hold My Hand (Bergs Remix)

This one I have spoken about before but not in a Music For The Soul post, so I figure I can post about it here now. This has been a song that I've loved for a long time, and always return to when the time is right. It's romantic, it's heart warming, and makes you want to be by the one you love.

And finally, because this was my JAM as a child:

Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls (Andie Roy & Suntimechild Remix) [Deep House]

I always return to this cheeky little remix, because of the beat, the rhythm and the tropical echoes that run through this one. It's a song you can't help but love if like me you enjoy Tropical House music for dancing to, and relaxing to.

Well, I guess that concludes our final Music For the Soul venture now, doesn't it? Don't worry, I want to continue sharing my musical favourites with you, but I want to create a new form of it, maybe just a name change, because I want this year's posts to reflect this year's me. Last year's me was a very lost woman, who made mistakes, got played by mind games, and just embarrassed this year's me. I can't change things from last year, but what I can do, is move on and smile. So, from this point forward, it's time to embrace the here, the now, and the future, because the future is bright. For all of us.

All my love,

All opinions are my own, and everything written, is, as always, written by me. None of my opinions/thoughts for this blog, nor choices were influenced by this collaboration opportunity.

I recently connected with Social Print Studio, asking if I'd be interested in creating a blog post showcasing my favourite looks that I've created since having this blog. Since I thought this would be great fun for returning readers to see some of my older looks, and also an opportunity for new readers to see how I used to style outfits, I decided I would definitely have a go!

So my picks are as follows:

From L to R, T to B: The Elated Monochrome Mermaid, All Black Everything,  Say You Want Me Too, Super Boho Look, Down By The Waterside, Winter Denim.

I feel that my style hasn't changed much since 2014. I keep simple key pieces in my wardrobe, and use hair and make-up to add to the outfit and turn it from a very simple, plain outfit, into something a little more constructed.

As you can probably imagine, my favourite looks from the selection that I have chosen are my most recent creations: The Elated Monochrome Mermaid outfit, and Say You Want Me Too outfits are two of my favourites, but a classic look that I love to wear at the moment is the Down By The Waterside outfit, using a very simple plain charcoal marl high neck top (it has 1/2 sleeves which I funnily enough really like), with plain black skinny jeans, and a camel trench coat with black fur trim, to create a rather comfortable, but extremely stylish (if I do say so myself) outfit. Funnily enough, the coat was a sale purchase from Boohoo at ASOS, and was an item I was 99.9% sure I'd dislike on me, but was worth a shot, and I don't think I've loved a coat this much in a long time. Well, it isn't really a coat, it's sort of a heavy duty cardigan, "could pass as a coat" item.

Of course this post couldn't overlook this outfit though:

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to mention this outfit. I still have every item from this outfit, although I don't really wear them any more. I feel like my style has moved away from the bright, crazy outfits that I wore in October 2013, toward slightly more modest, yet still sophisticated outfits.

I think those Jeffrey Campbell Lita's have done right to take their retirement to under my bed for now. Maybe one day they'll find their way into another outfit, but for now, I'm content in smaller heels, or flats.

I hope you enjoyed this fashion review!

Funky title. Yes it is. But I am elated.

So that aside, today was my adopted grandmother's birthday tea party (love you Wendy!) and she held it at a venue very close to my heart, overlooking the sea which was sparkling in the afternoon sunshine as gulls called out overhead. It was gorgeous and I want to share with you the outfit I put together to wear to it, because I got these trousers a month or so ago in the Topshop sale for £10 from £40, and they show my "lady hips" way more than I am comfortable with, but today they sat just right on me!

Sunglasses: Quay Australia
Blazer: Peacocks (I got it a couple of years ago at a car boot sale as I needed a white blazer to wear to my godmother's wedding and this one was perfect for £2!)
T-Shirt: H&M
Trousers: Topshop
Bag: Skinny Dip London
Rings: All Rose Garden Waterfal (as always) except the stag ring from Chxrmed jewellery.
Heels: Topshop (I've had these for YEARS and I also have the white leather and bronze cap version too! They're so comfortable and make for a good laugh when I take off running down the harbourside on a rare night out!)

I hope you like this outfit as much as I liked wearing it. It felt so cooooooool to be wearing all white as I walked along the seafront with billowing blue hair. I felt 110% mermaid.
